Printing on the iPhone

Is it possible to find a list of printers on the network that my iPhone is connected to and then print a list of data to this printer? More importantly is it possible to just print something on the iPhone?

There is no print system on the iPhone: if you want to print you have to do it all yourself including the drivers for each printer.

an alternative could be to have your program save and email a document as a PDF for printing at a later time from a computer.
