Need B&W laser printer advice

I need to replace the laser printer in a classroom. Budget is $2-3000. It must do at least 11x17, B&W, and print fast.

The class will be printing large graphics and page layouts, so processor speed and memory are key.

I was looking at the HP LaserJet 5200dtn Printer. Does anyone know how this is and if there is anything else I should look at?
