I remember reading somewhere that you could take a ATI RADEON 7000 PRO PCI PC EDITION video card and flash the ROM on it to make it work in a mac. I was wondering if I could take my old S3 Virge and flash the ROM in it so it will work in my mac. Any help would be appreciated.

I have only seen utilities and drivers and ROM images for the Radeon series. Since the other seres yo uhave has no analogus Mac product, it will prove difficult to find a Mac rom for it. In the case of the Radeon 7000, there is a Mac version, so you can buy the PC and flash the Mac rom to it and be all set.

I doubt flashing and ATI 7000 ROM on the S3 Virge will do anything but kill the card. ;)
