MMS only working on 3G and not wifi?

Strange after installing the 5.1 .ipcc file on my 3GS JB and have all my settings but nothing works when I am on wifi? Any help out there on this issue?

mms needs a cell signla, not wifi

You mean 3G AND WiFi on right?

I forgot what the fix is...but its just 3 days away...so be patient.

OP doesn't understand that MMS uses cell phone network which is 3G or Edge, not Wifi

Go to the iPhone forum then, find the thread "try your mms" page 24 then type in the settings on that page.

What he's saying is MMS doesn't go through with wifi TURNED ON using 3g/Edge.

I know we are near the MMS rollout however I was just looking to see if anyone else had this problem.

What problem?

MMS runs on your iPhone's cellular network (3G or Edge) not on WiFi
