How do I find out the CPU temp of my iMac? Its Intel 2007, running Tiger. Also, what is the idle CPU temp of this machine?
Thanks in advance! :D

The iStat Pro widget is popular.

SMC Fan Control - tells you the temperature, and also allows you to adjust your fan speeds

HDD is hard drive...ODD might be optical drive but I'm not sure.

Ok thanks! I was testing all of them, putting them up to different levels and they each make a different noise lol. I'm not going to do this again really because it wouldn't be to good for the computer.
By the way, what's the change in performance when you rev the HDD, I know the OPP and CPU, but what's the change when you speed up the HDD?
