Burning CDs

Duff-Man says...just as with the PCV, you can buy CD burning software. The company that makes East CD is Roxio and they also make "Toast" for the Mac. But you can also burn CD's directly from the Mac's finder or Disk Utility application as well...oh yeah!
1. Put CD-R(W) in drive.
2. Give CD a name (you should be able to rename it later)
3. CD shows up on Desktop.
4. Drag-and-drop to copy files to the disk image.
5. Eject CD to burn the sucker.
(Step 6 is optional.)
6. Laugh at Windows users for not having CD burning built into their OS.

One comment: things aren't really burned onto your CD until you specifically say to burn it, either by ejecting it and specifying "Burn", or by right-clicking (control-clicking, to one-button-mousers) and selecting "Burn Disc".
Otherwise, you can eject it without burning it, and/or move stuff back and forth from the CD's on-screen folder without ever actually putting anything on the CD.
