Before I do buy (if I do), we're going to have a mechanic we know take a look over the engine and everything.

Damn. Well, I just talked to my brother about the car. He thinks if I do buy a car like this, I need to get years 1994-1996. I guess they used the 285HP V8 rather than the 185HP. Its the engine LT-1, and I guess its really fast. It was used in the Impala, MonteCarlo, DeVille, and SeVille. I am looking at the DeVille's now, and I have found a few that are pretty sweet. We'll see.
