Can you update your carrier file from ANY computer?

Happy MMS Day!

Does anyone know if you can update your carrier file from a computer different from the one you sync with? Has anyone done this?

I know you can't update software on a different computer without re-syncing & erasing everything. But I was wondering if the carrier files worked the same way? Or if you could download them from any computer? I was just hoping to get my MMS today while I was at work. If not, oh well, waiting won't be an issue.

Yes, you can update your carrier file from any computer.

Any computer that has a more recent and working version of iTunes on it, that is. Also a working Internet connection to download the file would also be helpful. 🙂
