A few weeks ago, we were driving into Cleveland at night. We had Google maps directions that seemed rather simple getting us to the hotel. But since it was dark we decided to rely on our Magellan GPS.
The hotel was in the 700 block of St. Clair Ave. The GPS led us to the 4000 block and its database apparently didn't have any addresses below the 4000 block. Not the best neighborhood, especially at this time of night.
Luckily we were on the right street, we just had to get turned in the right direction. But it's got me wondering how common mistakes like this are? We get the occasionally silly instruction to turn around when we've passed a turn, but this is the first time we've seen something like this.
