iStat nano. just got it. at normal conditions, my instincts tell me that 124 degrees F is kind of high for my CPU and heat sinks. here is the overview:

HD: Macbook- 85F
CPU- 121F
Heat sink A- 121F
Heat sink B- 110F
Enclosure bottom- 81F
Northbridge 1- 113F

may any one tell me what the critical numbers to look out for are?

Thanks a ton

My resting temp of my Air is 34ºC. My in-use temp on my Air (consider the vents where they are an the air is always on my lap) is around 54ºC. So your 124ºF is not at all abnormal, not out of spec for standard and customary, and should not draw concern.

When tasked, my Air hits temps of 65ºC but the fans truck along and cool it down as needed.

The most important temperatures in a laptop are the hard drive and CPU temperatures.

In general, those temperatures you posted are relatively good.
