Macbook running at 170 degrees F bad?

I know macbooks get very hot however, i read that 140F is already pretty hot. I looked mine up and it was running at 170F. Should i take my macbook in or are there anytips to help prevent this.


P.S. I had safari and word open and that was it.
It idles at around 110-120F
New temp max is 192F with the fan at 6208rpm.

Not hard. i opened up 2 safari browsers, word, itunes, and the dictionary. hit 185. This would be typical to have open when doing homework.

EDIT: My new temp max is 192F with the fan at 6208 rpm
