The indies have seen the success of iTunes Europe... see them crawling back!! :rolleyes:

Seriously... I'm sure apple have changed their contracts.. but still.. didn't take them long. I wonder if Indies would be close to signing if iTunes Europe had flopped?

While this is good news, we should hope that Apple don't get forced into raising the price of downloads in the not too distant future.

This really is pretty important for iTMS and hopefully they get it sorted. If the indies can review the contract similarly to Apple's review of it's pricing hopefully there will be less incentive for Apple to increase its prices. As if Apple increased it's prices, the indies would increase the cost and so reducing the increase in Apple's profit per item and hopefully for this reason they would prefer to keep them cheap and sell more.
