Did anybody else catch "NewsNight with Aaron Brown" on CNN tonight? One of the features was a series of stills taken of John Edwards and John Kerry on the campaign trail, and there was a great shot of Kerry at his desk with his 17 inch PB on the desk.

I looked for the shot online, but couldn't find it. If anyone gets it, please post.

It's a great photo that's taken from such an angle that the PB with it's blazing Apple logo looks HUGE. It looks like a 30" monstrosity.

I was glad to see Kerry was a Mac user - not that I had any doubt.

I'm pretty sure Dubya uses a Mac, but a quick Google search didn't provide any definitive answers.

Bush uses Macs. It was discussed during the 2000 election. Hell, his wife is a teacher remember ;)

Should be a period.

What if I told you that Bush uses a Powerbook as well? What would you make of Bush then? Oh, and I almost got this thread confused with another (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=79418). Still, I don't care for politicians.

EDIT: Screwy, B2tM beat me to it.

Might have to leave Mac and go Linux :)

Now that is one of the funniest things I have heard in a long time.

BTTM.... man what are you talking about? Laura Bush is a librarian, not a teacher. ;) (Although her bio says she taught for like two years)

realize now that many famous people use macs- they often hide the apple logo on the back though... just watch a newscast etc. you see a very high number of them proportionate to their overall market share

Those were the two years she taught her husband how to read...

...She's not a very good teacher.

Psst! Bush is still on system 7.5.

He's thinking of moving up to 8.6 though...

He's thinking of moving up to 8.6 though...

But then he'd have to upgrade all of his software! And where can you still find old copies of Oregon Trail and Carmen Sandiego?

You think his foreign policy is a joke now - just imagine what it would be without those juicy tidbits he picks up while tracking that no good Carmen Sandiego. ("I'm gonna get her one of these days - DEAD OR ALIVE!")

I think the picture you are referring to ran in Time magazine one or two weeks ago. You might want to check out theirwebiste.
However, in the shot it looks like he is using a 15 inch Tibook and not a 17 PB.

a quick google search came up with this:

It's a great photo, a bit grainy but that adds to the mood I guess.
