NewerTechnology has a sale on their replacement battery for 1G and 2G iPods. The battery is only $25, and is 1600mAh, compared to the 1200mAh battery that they shipped with (a 30% capacity increase).

Yeah, it's too bad it's not "universal"... but i guess they'll start carrying them sooner or later

After taking a deeper look at that site, there is the battery for the 3G iPod as well.
