Problems Installing OS X

Hi,

Im running OS X 10.2.1 and when I Boot up it shows a flashing question mark over a folder then the finder icon then it boots up. I have my restore CDs but when I boot off of that CD holding c on bootup it does the same thing, how can I restore the software!

Are you sure you are booting from the correct CD?

Or maybe, just for testing purposes, did you try to boot from another bootable CD?
I think it is pretty important to find out if you Mac can boot from a CD at all....

The folder question mark thing is natural on older Macs. As long as it only flashes a few times before loading, it's no big deal.
