Need to convert Flash to MPEG-2

I want to convert my Flash creative to an MPEG-2 file for use on a big outdoor video display. How can I do this. Do I have to convert it to an AVI first and then an MPEG-2. What software is available for this?

Do you still have the .fla project file? The Mac version of Flash can export the animation straight to any Quicktime format.
