memory prices :(

Sadly, RAM prices do fluctuate pretty wildly. There were a couple price rigging lawsuits a few years ago that found the RAM maker at fault IIRC, so that sort of slowed/minimized the fluctuations.

They are definitely higher at a lot of places. I went to OWC thinking about ordering 4GB this morning and the in-house RAM they used to have listed for about $45 is up to $79.

I guess you just have to dig around a bit more to get a decent price now. I'm surprised the prices have gone up that much all of a sudden. Does anyone know why?
