Just out of curiosity, does the OSX DVD that is on sale remain the same? What I mean is, if I buy Snow Leopard a year from now, will it still contain OSX 10.6.0 or does Apple continually make new discs with incremental updates? Kinda like Microsoft does with including service packs with newer pressings of Windows.

They do new disks from time to time, probably centered around bigger updates. The MBP I bought in August came with an install disc for 10.5.7 (newest version at the time was 10.5.8).
