I was just looking at Apple comps at amazon.com, and lo and behold: they sell a 667MHz PBG4 for LESS than a 500MHz. Not a typo. They are actually selling a high end one (Rev. B) for LESS than one that isn't even sold at the apple store any more(Rev. A). What do you think?

these are the models that were put out before apple shipped the tibook with a dvd-cdrw. That may have something to do with it.

i noticed this .. it is true they are the DVD model, not combo.. but that doesn't explain why a 500 mhz model is $2994!.. here's a clip..
