Perhaps someone can fix this "feature" in the new nano 5g.
So, I hate Genius. I turned it off right away. However, in my "playlists", I still have Genius listed as the top playlist. It just sits there on top of my real play lists. Mocking me. I've already turned off Genius in iTunes, and I've already unchecked Genius in the menu settings on the ipod itself. I don't really know what else I can do. Thoughts?
This seems to be yet another simple massive oversight on the apple engineers who never ever considered the possibility that someone out there might not appreciate their Genius (pun and irony intended).
If anyone can fix this bug, I'd love to fix it. Otherwise, I guess I'll chalk it up to yet another mistake on Apples part - the other being the messed up Podcast playlists plaguing all podcast listeners. BTW, if you're wondering why this is an issue at all, this bug makes it far more difficult for me to navigate to my desired first playlist without looking at the ipod (by touch). So, it can be a real issue - although I admit it's cosmetic as well. I just hate that apple seemingly has told me "NO- you must use your ipod THIS WAY". Very un-user friendly. Again.
Apple - help?
