I have an iPhone 3g OS 3.0
Jailbroken with redsnow 0.8
Unlocked with ultra snow

Customer carrier.ipcc installed.

now i want the push notifications to be activated and working ...
i have a couple of push enabled apps isntalled e.g. facebook, nimbuzz, im+lite installed at the moment, but there is no push notifications working ... the notifications tab is on ....

i have been going around the internet and its ever so confusing ....


i tried installing push fix from cyia using the repo http://cydia.iphoneil.net
but that left me with a non working youtube app so that was no help

other then that i came accross with this tutorial .

.but its not that simple and i dont want to mess something and lose the internet / phone functionality as my job entails a lot of business on phone .....So any help will be highly regarded...

It's a problem with jailbroken phones, go back to official apple firmware if it's that important.
