As the title says! It cost me £26 in the UK and you get early access to the demo, 10% off and the baseball bat weapon.

Anyone else ordered?

I think I've played around 300 hours since I got the original in January so I'm more than ready for a big dose of new content.

I'm really considering playing this, got the L4D last year at Xmas and loved it. Worth £26.99??? I paid £34.99 I think before.....

I really enjoyed the first game - I'll definitely be picking this one up. :)

Why is that? I'm curious, are most violent titles banned there too? This is basic, put-them-out-of-their-misery zombie slaying...good stuff! :)

Something to do with the melee weapons being too violent. The rating system over here is screwed up. We get Dead Rising and GTA4, but not Left 4 Dead 2.

This is looking good. Now decisions. Either get the 360 version (it is getting released in Australia censored, maybe uncensored, so I may have to import), and miss out on free DLC but get split screen and good graphics. Or get it from Steam, run it in Boot Camp, play on probably low with 30 fps like the first one, but get free DLC, bigger community etc. Hard to choose.

You know you can get splitscreen on the PC version too, one person uses a controller another uses the keyboard.
I'm going for the PC version. Mods, custom maps (make your own even), custom campaigns, bigger community, free stuff, control options. My iMac runs this at the lowest settings but I'll take that over my Xbox!

For all those who preordered the game you can now preload the demo! Which I think is available on the 27th? Could be wrong.
And this is supposed to be the intro video (though IMO works better as a regular trailer and not for the events before the game starts).

Yeah, find friends and get the 4 pack. It works great. I did a 4 pack for Borderlands and it took all of ten minutes to process and key everyone their copies.

I would be getting this, but I just bought world at war(which I'm running at native resolution and high textures with 30+ fps :D) but is the first one still good, I heard everybody was mad about it due to the lack of dlc. Also, does anybody know how to use a wired 360 controller with world at war, pinnacle game profiler doesn't work for me, and I'm not doing to well with the KB + mouse combo.

I'm having trouble with this too. WAW won't let you bind to controllers, you might be able to get away with binding the buttons on the controller to keyboard functions, somehow.

The full game is now available for preload! Grabbed mine overnight, weighs in at around 4.5gb. Just don't go through the files! Some spoilers in there that you might not want to know just yet .

Loved the demo too. Felt like a proper sequel too. Roll on the 18th :D.

I've just been playing the demo. Interesting and fun game, but not something I would play that much of.. to much of the same old thing; shoot, kill move on to next zone, etc..

blah

You don't play many first person shooters do you.

I did preorder it, been playing the demo a little bit but can't really get into it because all I have is the 7300 GT (using a Mac Pro) right now. I have a 4890 waiting to really turn up the graphics options but I don't have one of the necessary power cords. Soon, though! :)
