okay, now I know that the chili peppers or their management has said, in the past, that they did not want to something something with the iTMS.

SO, I see that the released the Fortune faded EP, now I have not listened to them since well, high school but wanted to hear what they are up to recently so I got the EP... and boy was I um, let down.

1. the EP is, um, what happened to them?

2. um, track 2 and 3 seem cut, like demos?? or samples... I read a review on amazon that says that track 2 is 5 min long yet only 2 from iTMS.. are they screwing us? I hope this is not a lets give them a little bit in hopes that they will run out and buy the 12.99 EP, of which I will not...

Going to question Apple about this one, seems fishy. Anyone no anything about that EP, time lengths, could not find any online, like I said, the songs just fade out like they are extended previews.

grrr.... bad chili peppers, bad!

that is just the fortune faded single release.

and the chilis are as big as ever. they have just finshed a sold out stadium tour of the UK (it ROCKED) and by the way, their latest studio album is still selling strong, despite coming out 2 years ago.

Humm... I will take your word for it but, reviews that I have read for the EP state a longer song. Oh well, it is still misleading, and I am not blaming the Chili Peppers.

I just lost touch with them over the years, around the One Hot Minute area, I think I missed John, he brought a lot to the band. I know that they are still going strong, we spent our honeymoon over in Ireland, the Peppers had just played and the locals said that they were great.

Thanks for the reply, at least now I know that it is suppose to be that way and it is not a bum copy, still think it is a shady thing to do, calling it an EP.

The RHCP's last album was a let down if you were a RHCP fan. I didn't really care for them either way, but I bought it, and there were plenty of songs I enjoyed. They sounded like the Beach Boys or something. If you bought it expecting RHCP, you were disappointed. But since I like The Beach Boys, it was a blessing in disguise when their CD sounded like a Beach Boys album, if you get what I'm saying.

I think the Chilli Peppers are an awesome band. Flea is a wicked bass player and they write some great songs which they perform fantastically.

But why oh why do they have to mess around with copy protection on their CD's. I bought one of their greatest hits albums which won't work with iTunes. This has really soured my view on them - maybe unfairly but it has..
