Downgrading 3.1-->3.0 on a 3GS

Hello,

In the past when I was running the 3.1 betas I was able to downgrade to 3.0 by restoring to 3.0 and running purplera1n when the 1015 error box pops up. I was curious if this is no longer possible. I haven't seen anyone talking about it and was wondering if something in the 3.1 GM changed to prevent this.

EDIT: I imagine this wouldn't work because Apple is no longer signing 3.x?

Yes you're right, downgrade isn't possible unless you managed to store your phone's signature on Cydia while 3.0 was still being signed, so that Cydia can spoof being the Apple signature server
