Before the year 2000, lots of people thought the y2k bug was going to wipe out society. Now people seem to be paranoid about the year 2012, which I don't recall people caring about before 2000 (although I was only 11 then, so I may be mistaken).

After the world doesn't end in 2012, what do you think the next crazy end of the world conspiracy will be?

Given that I'm living in the part of California that dropped into the Pacific Ocean in 1988 in accordance to Nostradamus' prophecy, I really have no comment on this. :rolleyes:

2012 or 2038 sounds more of a wannabe precise kinds.
