My iPhone's (3GS) display is permanently zoomed in, so on the the home screen, I can only see the four icons in the top left hand corner.

The phone's functionality seems to be ok; it's just the display that's effected.

Tried re-booting but hasn't fixed it.

The iPhone was in my pocket (unlocked) for about 15 minutes, so it's conceivable that I was putting slight constant pressure on the screen.

Any ideas??

If I need a complete system reset, assuming I have synced my iPhone recently, is there anything I may lose as a result of the reset??
