Hi all. I did this once before a long time ago (like 2 years, on a different user name :) ), so I thought it would be fun to do it again. So post all of your comps here! Here's mine:
Mac Rig:
Dual 867 G4
768MB RAM
GeForce4mx 32MB
Soundsticks

Custom built PC Gaming Rig on Water Cooling (don't hate :p , I'll be sure to be enjoying Doom 3 and Half Life 2 on this baby :D ):
AMD Athlon XP-M @ 2.6GHz (overclocked)
Asus A7N8X Deluxe 2.0
Sapphire 9800Pro 128MB @ 412/345 (overclocked core/ram)
1GB Corsair 3200 DDR RAM
and I use the soundsticks on here too, yes they work just fine on the PC

Monitor for both:
NEC 1760v 17" LCD w/16ms pixel response time (great for games).

So...Post away!

edit: btw, if you guys want pics of my water cooling setup I'll try and post some. Sorry I just got it set up and I can't help but want to show it off

I also have a 120gb Lacie USB2.0 drive hooked up to it, an Epson R200 printer, and a Canopos ADVC-100 (for capturing video from analog devices).

At home, a 17" rev A PowerBook Al 1Ghz, 1gig RAM, superdrive, airport extreme.

eMac 700Mhz 1gig RAM, 80gig lacie firewire drive, Digidesign M-box, Dynaudio BM5 speakers, airport card, printer, scanner blah blah

at work: 20 G5 2Ghz running Logic, Protools LE, FCP, DVDSP bunch of other stuff, 35 G4 duals of various speeds all running similar software, 24 studio Macs ranging from 667Mhz Quicksilvers to dual 2 gig G5's all with same software, except the surround and main rooms which all have G5's and ProTools HD.

We hav a few PC's but they only run the academic records software HEMIS and room booking SEMIS, plus a couple of laptops for the room design/measurement package EFT5.

All our academic staff now use PowerBooks or iMacs (15" and 17"), but I've got the only 17"PB.... Size matters after all. :D

No LEDs (it's a CCT) there, that's an optical illusion (i guess you could call it), a combination of a few things.
the reflection off the speaker which i kept in the original position as opposed to most people who do something similar, they'll remove the speaker all together. And the speaker grill also does funny things and concentrates the light...
and that was shot in the dark, so the exposure was a bit longer than normal, cause it isn't that bright IRL.

I have a Power Computing Power Tower Pro computer (Mac clone) with a tsunami mainboard w/Six PCI slots. A SonnetTech PowerPC G4 800 MHz upgrade card. And one gigabyte of RAM.

It runs Mac OS X 10.2.8 just fine, as well as Office 2004. It is a bit slow on UT2k4 though.

In addition, I have a 650 watt power supply w/four 110 outlets, 8x +/- DVD-R/RW burner, 3 hard drives, Iomega Zip & Jaz drives, dual PC card reader drives.

And to top it all off, it is all in a custom case with acrylic panels, as well as cathode lights inside.

...

edit...i like the way toddw listed the history of his machines in post #40 so i will try ;)

1st computer...apple II+
2nd computer...apple IIe
3rd computer...performa 600, 30 mhz

the first four were my parents' machines which i used as a kid and in college, and the last three are our current machines...the next will obviously break the ghz barrier since no mac sold today is slower than 1 ghz ;)
