Loose screen (bottom left corner) 2 iPod touch 2g

Got 2 iPod touch 2g with a loose screen in bottom left hand corner.
Both under warranty, so possibly going back.
Seems to be a common fault.
Will they be replaced with another 2g, has apple cured this problem now?
