Hey guys.

I have a 32 gb iphone 3gs and the first thing i did when i got it was to jailbreak, unlock and set up my email and calendar using push via google.

Then two weeks later a friend of mine claims that the battery gets drained faster when its jailbroken?

When I think about it, my battery is very weak. About 50% left during half a day, with little to no use at all..

Is it the jailbreak or push or something 3rd?
I have 6 pages of apps as well.. but that shouldnt really matter..

It should be apparent that having your phone do more things will use more battery.

Push uses more battery than no-push.

Of course you can also test this by turning off the push and seeing how your battery fares.

but it has nothing to do with the jailbreak and/or unlock?

Nothing significant.

Just buy a $30 battery pack and toss it in your bag.
