People with Macs probably don't own Zunes.

Because Zune is a much better mp3 player than an iPod.

The commenters on the article seem to be happy about it. I wouldn't care either way, but it would not be a bad idea to port the software to OSX.

It could be a good move for Microsoft, if there is if enough interest for it.

Except that my iPod Touch is as much as a PDA as an mp3 player, especially with the thousands of apps at my disposal.

The Zune HD is nice, but it doesn't even have a calendar app, let alone a dedicated Mail client. Sorry, but I need more than an mp3 player, no matter how good it may/or may not be at that single function.

It sounds like you picked the right device then! :)

They seem to be happy about it, methinks they've been sponsored by Microsoft though.

American bloggers forced to declare interests (http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/tech_and_web/article6862899.ece).

I think this is great! The iPod Touch might be better than Zune HD. But the Zune 120... I will be honest. If it was there for Macintosh I would have got it over my iPod Classic. But now that I have my iPod Classic. I love it. It will be great though for Macintosh users to get a Zune. They do have cool features that iPod Classic lacks.

Features are not necessarily benefits. Zune can have better features and not be as good an mp3 player. Assume it does. How do those features overcome the Zune's lack of anything decent to compete with its? Why would anyone want to buy oddly packaged points in order to buy songs??
