do all the new 3g of ipods have the built in mic in the head phone ive seen a whole bunch of unboxing and the 8gb on the headphones there is the volume control does the 8gb come with the built in mic like i said again can someone help me i dont want to buy a 32 gb or 64 i dont have enough money for that

NO 8gb iPod Touches have either built in or inline (on headphones) mics.

The new 32 and 64 Gb versions have the on the headphones.

None of the Touch's have built in mics on the device.

The 32 and the 64 come with the ear buds that contain a mic, the 8 does not.

As for voice control, there is none for the current 8GB model, only for the 32 and 64GB models. But the 8GB does have support for a microphone, just not voice control.
