I understand your frustration, living in the UK - and waiting quite a while for iTMS EU. I think you need to understand what's behind the music store - there has to be negotiations with all of the major record labels and then all the indie labels. Is there an independent association in Australia? Because if Apple's still having problems like they were in the UK with the indies it's going to be even more difficult if there's no centralised association....

I hope it gets sorted out soon!

In Europe, each country has its own record companies and labels and Apple has to deal with each separately. I would guess that Australia is in the same boat as Canada - it will happen eventually but for the population of the country it is not at the top of the list.....oh yeah!
