How do you create a "master Vault" in Aperture 2

How do I create a "master Vault" in Aperture 2 stored on an external HD.

I have over 30,000 photos in iPhoto but when i want to do some fine editing i like to import them over to aperture 2, do the editing then print export whatever. For some reason i now have 3 vaults on my external HD all name something different.

is there a way i can merge all the vaults?

You could just create a new vault with everything in it and erase all of the old ones.

thanks for the quick reply, True that. but i can't open these vaults. they are all different sizes. 20, 16, 7GB's. I have tried under the options show package content but when i try to open it it just takes me back to the original 3 events that are in aperture.
