Reset Iphone 2G

Hi guys

I have unlocked / Jailbroken Iphone 2G.
Cydia and Winterboard is installed.

Is there any way to reset this device, without needing to unlock/jailbreak the device again?

It seems like my battery life has gone kapoot!
My phone dont last a day, Wifi/bluetooth off, no push/fetch mail.

I think something is running in the background etc.

I want to reset it, and clean the device up.

Any ideas?

I think you'd be best doing a DFU restore to 3.0, not 3.1, then running RedSn0w again
