Annoying "Slide To Power Off"

Hi guys,
I am having an issue with my touch where the "slide to power off" screen constantly pops up on me every few seconds when I am trying to use it. Has anyone else experienced this or know what I can do to stop this?

Sounds like your power button is stuck. Get service from apple perhaps.

or maybe your case isn't fitting right and causing the button to be stuck?
