Hi,

I would like to upgrade my hard drive as I would like to have my whole music library and all my camera images on the hard drive.

I have found these two (below) Which one should I go for? If anyone has a better suggestion please let me know :)

Cheers for your help in advance.;)

Check the specs on the vendor website

I'd be inclined to go for the Toshiba but that may be just me ;-)

I strongly recommend to check the disk specifications on their vendor website first though. I wonder if there's a typo in transfer rate on one of the specs mentioned, 300MBps versus 3GBit/s...kinda confusing.

Another thing which needs verification is the size of these disks. Not all 2.5" hard disks have the same height. I've seen some which are about 1,5mm higher than common notebook disks.

hmm gut feeling... I've seen issues with WD disks and not particularly with Toshiba's. But that's on a different platform, so not really a fair comparison.
