Noticed in the apps for ebooks there are programs I imagine you need for an ebook like Iceberg Reader, B-N Reader and Kindle Reader. My question is do I need to download one of those reader first and then look for books using those readers or if I purchase a book will their Reader automatically download when I purchase the ebook?
Any hint or suggestions would be appreciated.

It can work either way. I think.
A great ebook reader is "iSilo" I use it all the time to read books on my rotting Palm Tungsten E2, the great thing about it is that you can download a program from their website called "iSilo X", and that turns text files that you feed into it, into .prc files.
HTML and rtf or plain text are probably the best formats to convert into .prc.
.prc is a Palm format, but iSilo on your iPod can read them perfectly :D
I have no idea how you might sync the .prc files from your computer to your iPod...since I don't own the iPod version of iSilo, but I guess you could email them. :D have fun!
