iPhone disconnected during update and wants to "RESTORE" - Arrgghhhh!

Hey Y'all,

Any wisdom on accessing or saving all of the new information on my iPhone before restoring? All I see is the picture of a USB2 into the iTunes disk with music logo.

I know I should have "backed up" first but I signed up for MobileMe and it suggested updating before backing up to MobileMe.

Arrrgghhh. All suggestions appreciated.
