airport and ethernet issues

So I was connected to my home wireless system. I walked into another room and lost my connection to the internet. I tried to restart, still couldn't get my connection back (but my airport was telling me I was still connected to the LAN). I tried to connect to my wired ethernet, but no sucess there either. Other computers in my house (pc and mac) seem to be working fine on the wired and wireless LAN. I've checked all my settings and nothing seems to be changed. Any suggestions?

[edit]: nevermind. Setting the pram did the trick.
