hi everyone..

can I install a bootcamp partition with windows 7 on a external Hard disk?? does the connection via USB will do some difference?

I have a 2.26 MBP 13" with 160 Gb of HD.. then I don't want to reduce my actual internal HD and think in the external HD..

sorry for my english..

Thanks to everyone..

According to what I have read at http://www.sevenforums.com it looks like Windows 7 STILL doesn't really like to boot off of USB or SDHC. There are ways around this for XP that have been used with varying degrees of success by MR users, but they remain unsupported by Microsoft and can break with any update.

Your best bet is actually to upgrade your internal hard drive. Apple provides the instructions here: http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/MBPRO_13inch_Mid2009_Hard_Drive_DIY.pdf
