Hello everyone! I have been developing a new application for the iPhone/iPod touch called iMessenger. It is just like Blackberry Messenger even including Delivered (D) or Read ( R) badges next to each sent message to see the receivers has viewed your message yet.

You can check it out and the forum at http://imessengerapp.com

We are finishing Beta 2 tomorrow and we hope to be 100% finished on October 31! Look out for it on the AppStore soon and thanks for reading!

Best app of its kind that has potential from what I've seen, make is free initally that way people can adapt then start charging to maximize profits =). Can i beta test?

UI looks pretty nice, can't wait to actually see it in the App Store and play with the app myself :)

And now I play the waiting game, haha

So there's getting to be too many of these apps now... but I will say this, this one looks very promising and IMO the most like the BlackBerry messenger. I'm very excited to try this one out and if it works as good as it looks, I think I'll be using this for good.

The UI looks awesome. If I didn't have unlimited SMS I'd be all over this.

Looks great! I'm really waiting for when there'll be a client that let's iphone users im with BB users. Was hoping Whatsapp would have done that by now but I'm sure it'll be coming soon enough.

This app does look pretty slick. Kudos!

Another app with an "i" in front of the name? Seriously? There was NOTHING else you could name it? Ugh. Not to mention there are 10 of these apps already.

Looks good. I just don't see a need for it.

Developer, please, increase the font in chat bubbles. Just looking at some of the screenshots, I can easily tell that Emojis will be hardly distinguishable. Please!

Negativity and no useful input from The General?!?

Shocker!

Do you know what the word "competition" means? So what if there's already 10 similar apps? Or 40. It doesn't matter. If this developer feels he can make something better than all 10 or 40 that are already out there then what's the problem?

Personally I think this one is going to be much better than the TWO that are already in the App Store.

I usually don't see the point of the "i" but this time I think it makes sense.

haha i was just going to say that! buy a blackberry if you guys are so infatuated with their messenger. my beejive works awesome! connected with 3 screen names and i can talk to ANYONE with anything (computer or ANY phone).

in order for this BBM like messaging app to work is if its integrated to the iphone by default. otherwise, its another instant messaging app, but i guess this time it only limits you to iphone users only..

This app definitely sounds promising. I already use another texting app that I d/l'd from the App Store, but depending on the reviews/price point, I would strongly consider this.

Hey,

I would love to be a beta tester for your application. I'm a developer my self, although not for iPhones these days, and believe I'd be a huge help for your team to get some feedback.

I've been looking for something to replace my BBM and help kick the blackberry addiction, and it looks like this would be just the tool. Its awesome to see you guys have the R/D confirmations there.

So if I can join the beta, please let me know, like I said, I would love to help.

Thanks so much.

It doesn't matter how good this app is, if my friends have one of the other apps it's absolutely useless.
