This app connects to an actual quantum device made in Geneva, Switzerland, and has it observe the path of a single photon as it collides with a semi-reflective mirror; this photon will either bounce off the mirror or pass through it. But according to current quantum theory (the "Many-Worlds" interpretation), the photon will actually travel down both paths simultaneously -- in separate universes. Universe Splitter simply reports back to you which universe you're in, and therefore which action you should take, and from that point on you will be living out two lives, each in its own parallel reality.*
