As per title...the name o2 used to appear after the signal strength/status bar....can I get it back, it's bugging me.

It's a known bug when jailbreaking to 3.1 or 3.1.2 firmware with lower baseband. The old baseband doesn't report the carrier info correctly to the newer firmware.
