Theme from Cydia not showing in Winterboard

Ok, I'm new to the JB world so bare with me. I recently downloaded the Hurricanes theme from Cydia but I don't see the theme in Winterboard. After some research I used Diskaid program to view and I can see the theme in my themes folder but notice it doesn't have the .theme like the other themes do. Should I modify the Hurricanes theme to add .theme? I don't want to mess anything up so I'm not sure I should modify anything.

Thanks. I actually had two different Hurricanes themes in winterboard but only one was showing. In the themes folder they displayed as the following:

Miami Hurricanes
Miami Hurricanes.theme.

I decided to uninstall both themes and then went to only install the one i wanted. Now the one I want show's up in Winterboard.

I'll know next time to just add the .theme though.
