Unibody Macbook screen resolution

I was wondering if there is any way to increase the screen resolution of the original unibody macbook... to greater than 1280x800

No, that is the recommended and highest resolution available on the UniBody MacBook (5,1).

That's the maximum of the panel.

I guess if you could find a different 13.3" 16:10 ratio panel that has a higher resolution you may be able to swap it in.
