I am burning my p90x's to make back ups and take with my to my local gym, they don't have them yet,

my DVD writer is writing at a max of 5!!! 5 speed come on man!!

i am writing to an HP dvd+r


is there a way to make it faster, or better yet:

what mac friendly one can i purchase (ide) for a decent price and just slap it in and go?

You can just slap any DVD burner in your Mac and will work.

But a flash usually works to remove any limitations set by the manufacture, ie Riplock.

did not really offer and benefits in the way of burning dvd's.
