So I broke the my iPhone :(. It fell out of my coat pocket and broke the screen.

I really don't want to get a new iPhone and renew my contract just yet for another 2 years and don't want to pay $200 for apple to replace the glass.

So my question to all of you is has anyone bought the replacement glass off of ebay? If so, was it easy to replace the glass and does it look like it was never replaced?

Also when I do a search on ebay there is like hundreds of sellers it seems. Which one is the best one to buy from?

Thanks for your help.

I posted about the same problem yesterday, take a look here (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=804763).

I purchased this (http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?type=4&campid=5336090759&toolid=10001&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.co.uk%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D180420444448%26ssPageName% 3DSTRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT) item from eBay, though I'm from the UK, not sure if you are. They state that it's OEM hardware and the feedback is good so I'm confident :)

I was thinking of posting a YouTube video up to show my experience. There are already quite a few on there though if you do a quick search!
