I am trying to decide whether to buy the 32GB or 64 GB iPod Touch. It seems that one has to convert to iPodTouch/iPhone format first before viewing the video. Supposing that a video file takes 1 MB under Leopard. How many MB will it become after conversion to iPodTouch/iPhone OS 3.1? Similarly, 1 GB in the iTunes folder equals to how many GB after moving the files to the iPodTouch/iPhone OS 3.1 ? Thanks.

It depends on how you compress it. But 1Mb in Leopard is 1Mb on a touch. There's no magic trick that alters a file size just by transferring from device to device.
