i am listening to the financial conference call... I heard about an order of about 50,000 macs from the state of Maine for macs, which is probably why the shortage has come about... not because of new macs.... what do you think?
update: the last question actually provided some additional info as they asked a question about why the air freight costs for the company would be going up in the following quarter... and Apple answered something along the lines of, they were trying to get all of their products into stores for the holiday season but they couldn't fully comment on the matter. to me that says that they are definitely bringing something new out before christmas. however, the problems with peoples delayed iMacs could most likely be from the Maine order
