Please help me!!! iTunes wont detect my iphone 3g. it is in recovery mode. and if it helps the computer i use is a mac

So are you seeing an iTunes logo with a USB Cable?

Try putting it in DFU mode.

It was in DFU mode. Anyways I solved it. I reinstalled iTunes.

You said you were in recovery mode. IIRC. Anyway, glad you fixed it.

im having the same problem!!! but i share my computer with my step dad and his iphone gets detected right away and mine doesn't!! and when i put my phone on recovery mode i reseted my phone or so i thought and then my phone is the same!! itunes won't recognize it :(
